Penn Parking’s administrative operations are managed by Victoria Grove. Victoria offers more than 25 years of financial experience in the service industry.
Victoria began her accounting career with one of the top 5 Fortune 500 companies, General Motors. She was hired directly out of college by Electronic Data Systems (EDS), which at the time was owned by General Motors. She lived in both Dallas, TX and Detroit, MI, working in various accounting / financial departments within the company. After her tenure at EDS, she worked for a subsidiary of another large conglomerate ARAMARK.
Soon, Victoria began searching for a smaller company that could offer her a full encompassing accounting position. It was at this time she came upon an opportunity at Penn Parking. After meeting Lisa, Victoria knew that Penn Parking could offer her the long term accounting career she wanted. In the past twenty years, the strength and trust of the working relationship with Lisa, Mike and Victoria is the basis for Penn Parking’s continued growth and success. Their mutual confidence and respect in each other is the heart of Penn Parking.
As Vice President of Administration, Victoria manages all accounting and financial activity that occurs throughout the company. She analyzes the revenues and expenses of each location and works directly with the Vice President of Operations in tailoring the revenue control plan specific to the needs of each facility. She maintains internal controls, guarantees accurate analysis figures, and implements adjustments necessary to maintain effective audit trails. Additionally, with the aid of her internal staff, she administrates the payroll, A/P and A/R functions, maintains adherence to all subcontracting requirements, and all other government regulations. She is also responsible for all banking relationships, insurance procurement and benefits administration.
Victoria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a minor in Computer Information Systems. Her passions and joys include being a wife and mother, escaping into an amazing Broadway musical theater production, watching her girls perform (whether on the basketball court or on stage), enjoying a good glass (or two) of wine, staying fit, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
